Registration

The race organisers welcome athletes of all abilities and backgrounds to take part in the Beacons Ultra. All we ask is that you are adventurous and determined. If you are concerned about a particular aspect of the event please contact us and we’ll help you all we can with your preparations.
Entry fee for the Beacon Ultra 2010 is £40 and includes the following….
* Race Goodie Bag including Race memento and bits and bobs from Race sponsors.
*10% off anything you buy from Likeys (www.likeys.com) between 1st July and 19th November.
* Prizes in excess of £500 to top 3 finishers in both Men’s and Women’s race, and top team.
* Numerous further Spot prizes.
* Personalised Race Number.
* Medical Support throughout the event.
* Manned checkpoints along the route with the friendliest Marshalls you will find anywhere.
* Oh, and some of the most wonderful scenery you will find anywhere in the UK, provided it isn’t tipping down with rain or that you aren’t too shattered to see

Receipt of your completed application and entry fee will secure your place on the Beacons Ultra.

Race Limit

The race entry will be limited to 150 entrants. There will not be a waiting list. It is anticipated that there will be a 15-20% dropout before the event thus giving a starting field of approx 120-130 athletes.

Refund

If for any reason you are unable to attend the race, there will not be a refund on your entry. However, any such monies paid for your entry will be donated in its entirety to the BRECON BEACONS MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAM, who are very supportive of the race and do a fantastic service for both the community and the many thousands of people who come to the Beacons to enjoy the countryside.
All the athlete who withdraw from the event prior to the race day will be entered into a ballot with the first three drawn form the hat receiving a FREE entry into next years race.
